Cultural Week at the School of Adult Education The Verneda
Annually, the School of Adult Education Verneda Barcelona organizes its Cultural Week. It is a cultural activity organized for all participants and all the projects and activities held at school: basic training groups, languages, access to college, Point Omnia and leisure and culture.
The weeks become a cultural space:
- For meeting, interaction and socialization among the participants and facilitators of the projects of the organization promote and link the personal with the aim of promoting the social network of people.
- To share and explain the projects being undertaken in the organization from the experience of groups (exhibitions, lectures, videos, etc.).
- To exchange experiences and projects with the environment, inviting the organizations, resources and neighbors / s in various activities: debates, round tables, seminars, film forums ...
- To learn to participate and promote the identity and involvement of participants in the project.
Last week culture of the EDA Verneda held from Friday 11 to Wednesday 16 December 2009 and which were created and exciting activities as the Feast of Sacrifice, singing carols, the video forum • movie "Dalton", visit the exhibition "Cerda, 150 years," talk about social change, art exhibition and a panel discussion on AIDS and new technologies.
In this last activity, the new technologies were discussed from the experiences of the participants, facilitators and the Community Office for Promotion-ODC.
He reflected on the role of ICTs in the knowledge society, the gap between digital immigrants and digital offer a general overview of the project Omnia from actual experiences from different points Omnia.
It meant a very interesting experience and a line of work to bring the project to the public Omnia and discover that there are many more points Omnia all over Catalan and motivate themselves to experiment with new ideas and proposals.
On the other hand, the fact DAYS develop ICT knowledge sharing with the participants and open to the general public, offering a new dimension as the Omnia Point of information and reference site in the area of ICT.
