1. - Know about the project before working as a volunteer to point Omnia?

Yeah, that came as a student in a group introduction to computing, where I felt very well with the teacher Maite and one day I proposed to me and I voluntarily accept, because I like challenges, new things ... At first I had my doubts, but she encouraged me, told me he would not do anything and wanted to learn new things, so I was more and socialize with people of different groups, the m 'love.

2. - Had developed previously voluntary roles? If yes, what?
No, as I said is the first time, well, last year, that perform a task like this.

3. - What moved you to get involved as a volunteer to point Omnia?
So take time and feel good. Before the morning was free time and bored, go to the point of voluntary work to help me fill this space and interact with others, share experiences with them, help them in some tasks, it makes me feel satisfied, fills.

4. - What functions you performed?
Help with what the instructor tells me, and I know I do. For example, at Christmas, we cut the postcards were all the users / s, we put them in numbers and we hang a mural on the walls of the premises so that people could vote. I also did a workshop in support of employment, helping women to fill their resumes, go to Internet portals that are engaged in job search ... Other jobs were also upload photos to facebook Point, do the additions of users / Point is ... among other support tasks.

5. - Would you recommend the experience to others?
If, especially those who have free time, you feel lonely or have a desire to learn and be and help others. If you understood the concept of volunteerism is a very nice perform.

6. - The experience has satisfied your expectations?
If at first thought it would be very difficult or could not do the tasks I asked. But Maite always told me that although he had done, was there helping me and we can say that I have learned new things about computers and humans with this new feature.

7. - How would you define a word / sentence to Point volunteer experience?
Very positive.

8. - What do the evaluation function that you performed?
As I mentioned earlier, good. Since I was learning new computer functions, when I socialize with others and learn from them also.

9. - What impression you bring out more of the people using the Point?
Good fellowship, willing to learn and let yourself be helped. We spend a good time doing more work, telling anecdotes, experiences, solutions to deteminades issues, etc..

10. - We present, in the future to repeat the experience? Why?
If, indeed, indeed I am repeating this year. Whenever I can I will and do not involve leaving my role as wife and mother. In fact this year they wanted to continue because my son has opened a restaurant-bar (the craving) street ball game 1 in Lleida and wanted to help, but I enjoyed it so much last year, I decided to return There a few hours, cooking this year and dedicate these moments and to do something like that.

Not surprisingly, a point that work with children (70% do), either by collaboration with open centers, shared school units (UEC), youth clubs or schools in the country, to give some examples. If all this we add the factor that the Omnia points are located mainly in disadvantaged environments, the possibility of working with children becomes a priority to alleviate the consequences of growing up in these environments. The individual and collective imagination, the acquisition of habits, social values, the concept of community., Put up in the environment and can transform the social and educational work.

For all that work with children at risk is so important. And also for this reason that we have produced a document that provides key methodology for the analysis of this group, while showing a series of success stories coming from the same points and Omnia, each responding to a different situation, contributes to the kaleidoscope Omnia.
